We are so fortunate to live in a community rich in natural outdoor spaces. Curve Lake First Nation is surrounded by water and forest. Our Teachers are encouraged to spend much of their time with students outdoors using the outdoor classroom at our teaching rocks, the marshland boardwalk and other community spots. Our curriculum mapping project outlines for our staff what cultural events and traditions are happening in the community and school each month and school wide activities are planned such as:
- Sugar Bush
- Mkwa day
- Ice Fishing
- Fishing
- Planting
- Pow wow
